Accreditation

The IALC is nationally accredited by CEA, the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit postsecondary English language programs and institutions in the U.S. Accreditation by CEA signifies that an English language program has met nationally-accepted standards of excellence and assures students and their sponsors that the faculty, curriculum, standards, and services will be of the highest quality.

The IALC is also a member of AAIEP, the American Association of Intensive English Programs. AAIEP is an active organization that encourages and enables communication among ESL programs throughout the United States. Membership in the AAIEP keeps the IALC connected to current issues in the field of ESL and in the changing international community.
